Si en el transporte mar\u00edtimo el <strong>Bill of Lading (B\/L)<\/strong> es indispensable, en el transporte a\u00e9reo su equivalente es el <strong>Air Waybill (AWB)<\/strong>, y a continuaci\u00f3n te explicamos qu\u00e9 es y c\u00f3mo funciona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el Air Waybill y para qu\u00e9 sirve?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El <strong>Air Waybill<\/strong> sirve para diversas funciones cruciales en el transporte a\u00e9reo de mercanc\u00edas. Entre sus principales roles, destaca como prueba del contrato de transporte, justificaci\u00f3n del recibo de la mercanc\u00eda por parte del transportista, y gu\u00eda para la manipulaci\u00f3n adecuada de la carga durante su trayecto. Adem\u00e1s, se utiliza como justificante contable de los costos de transporte, herramienta para la declaraci\u00f3n aduanera, y como prueba de la recepci\u00f3n de la mercanc\u00eda por parte del destinatario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El <strong>Air Waybill<\/strong> est\u00e1 estandarizado por la <strong>IATA<\/strong> (International Air Transport Association), organismo que regula el tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo global. Los datos esenciales que son requeridos dentro del documento son:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Informaci\u00f3n del remitente y del destinatario.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Detalles de la mercanc\u00eda (peso, volumen, embalaje).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Informaci\u00f3n sobre el transportista, el vuelo y el itinerario.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Informaci\u00f3n sobre el pago del flete y recargos adicionales.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>El n\u00famero de identificaci\u00f3n del <strong>Air Waybill<\/strong>, que consiste en un prefijo de aerol\u00ednea seguido de un n\u00famero de serie.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Emisi\u00f3n del Air Waybill<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El <strong>Air Waybill<\/strong> puede ser emitido de dos maneras: directamente por la compa\u00f1\u00eda a\u00e9rea o por los diversos agente de transporte.
